MSVAA
Who we are?
Maharashtra State Veterans Aquatic Association is a state level association, established and registered in the year 1997.The State Association is affiliated to Masters Aquatic Federation of India.
The association is formed with the intention to develop interest and to bring awareness about swimming among all the persons young & old ,male & female who are above 25 years of age.
The Role of MSVAA
Most of the District Swimming Associations are registered and affiliated with our Maharashtra State Association.
The MSVAA is a trust organisation, plays an important role in promoting to form District Swimming Associations and related activities. It also works for bringing co-ordination among District Swimming Associations and guiding them in swimming competitions held annually at different Districts jointly with our State Association. As many as 500 to 600 master swimmers, male & female from various Districts such as Pune, Mumbai, Ratnagiri, Aurangabad, Ahmadnagar, Sangali, Satara, Kolhapur, Nashik, Nanded, Nagpur, Wardha, Amravati and many more are participating regularly in our annual Swimming competitions organised by MSVAA & District Swimming Association.

Our MSVAA is well equipped with standard software application designed & technical team required for conducting swimming competitions and even hire our services to other states to conduct complete Swimming Competitions event, top from online registration & entry forms collection to prizes, medals & certificates distribution, under terms & conditions, rules & regulations as followed in such national swimming competitions.
History of MSVAA
Dr Arvind Shirbhate, Founder President, and Late Dr Prakash Ajmire, Founder Secretary of MSVAA, Mr Arun Gogate, & Mr Tony Joseph all from Amravati with their other swimmer friends from different Districts in Maharashtra worked whole heartedly to organise first State level swimming competitions was held at Amravati and there after annually at different places in Maharashtra.
During the development journey of the MSVAA both founder President & secretary together with their team, have done pains taking efforts and made most of the district associations to join and get them registered & affiliated to this state association. Presently there are many good enthusiasts interested in swimming and attached with State association’s activities and cooperate in every respect..
